Frick Jones
President
Frick Jones is the President of EMM Research and is responsible for its strategic initiatives, growth, and structure. Frick has over 15 years of experience in recruiting and research with both corporate and executive search firms. Prior to launching EMM Research, he was a Director in the Investment Banking practice at Options Group. In an earlier role he was a Manager at Allegis Global Solutions (RPO), running searches for Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Strategic Planning and Finance. He started his career at Bristol Consulting focusing on Market and Banking. Frick graduated from Hamilton College and lives in Connecticut with his wife and three daughters.
George Carter
Head of Research
George Carter leads the research team at EMM Research. He is responsible for the onboarding and training of new associate hires, managing all internal and external research projects, as well as overseeing the research team. Prior to joining EMM, George was a Research Associate at Options Group from 2018 to 2020, where he worked in human capital and market research for the investment banking and private equity sectors, reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer. Before this, George held various executive advisory roles, providing research support for target company analysis for mergers & acquisitions transactions, go-to-market strategies for new products, identifying individual and institutional investors for equity and debt capital raises, assessing real estate market comparables and valuations for subject properties, and talent searches for recruiting firm placement mandates. He holds a BA in Business Management & Financial Planning from SU.
David Weiser
Senior Advisor
Dave Weiser is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of experience within both private and public markets across the capital structure in a variety of industries. Having started his career on the Leveraged Finance team at a large global investment bank, Dave went on to build his expertise using a deep dive fundamental approach paired with macro insight to best identify and execute investment opportunities at multi-billion dollar funds and asset managers.
Frank Cohen
Head of Compensation
Frank Cohen is the Head of Compensation for EMM Research. He founded Personal Salary in 2019 to bring pay transparency to commercial real estate. Personal Salary has grown to become the largest online compensation resource for the industry, serving thousands of professionals from hundreds of companies across the country. In addition to Personal Salary and EMM, Frank is the Managing Partner of Sheridan Road Properties, a boutique real estate investment and development firm focused on life sciences in the Mid Atlantic. Prior to Personal Salary he was a Senior Director at Tishman Speyer where he oversaw the repositioning of Rockefeller Center. He graduated from Harvard College and received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Zack Sanders
Director of Research
Zack Sanders primarily focuses on research and data management for the EMM Research team. Zack is a recent graduate from Iona College with an MBA in Finance, having graduated with honors. During his graduate studies, Zack focused on Portfolio Management, Market Research and Risk.
Sophia Interlicchio
Director of Operations
Sophia Interlicchio graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in History with coursework geared towards political science, international business, and gender & women’s studies. After graduating, Sophia worked as an executive assistant for entrepreneurs in the tech and recruiting industries where she gained an appreciation and skills for operations and administration. She prides herself on being energetic and pragmatic, and brings this approach to EMM Research.
Zoe Fanzo
Director of Operations
Zoe Fanzo graduated from Macaulay Honors at Lehman College with a B.A. in History. While completing her degree, Zoe was the co-founder of the Lehman LGBTQ+ Alliance, and the Digital & Physical Print Producer and Writing Contributor for the university newspaper, the Meridian. She oversees all matters relating to operations and administration for EMM Research. Before joining the team, Zoe spent two years in search as a corporate services recruiter.
Leina Braga
Director of Marketing
With extensive experience in digital marketing, public relations, social media management, and graphic designing, Leina Braga enthusiastically drives marketing strategies to support EMM Research. Prior to joining the team, Leina was Head of Business Development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Rhodes Associates. Before that, she led the International Recruitment Operation for Concordia College New York in India and Brazil, her home country. Leina holds a BBA, a master’s degree in Business Leadership, and is trained on DEI in the workplace.
Simon Hohlov
Associate Director, Research Analyst
Simon Hohlov is responsible for managing multiple market research projects. Simon previously worked at Phoenix Point Partners and Options Group and has an extensive background in market research and market mapping, with a particular focus on quantitative hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. He is based in New York City.
William Sutor
Senior Associate, Research Analyst
William Sutor assists in all matters related to research, sourcing, and support. He manages project initiatives, executes recruitment processes, produces white papers, and assists in database management. He is committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable smooth and consistent operations. Will is a graduate of Boston College, with a B.A. in History and Slavic Studies. While in school, he had a history essay published in an undergraduate research journal.
Sydney Juvelier
Associate, Research Analyst
Sydney Juvelier is an Associate, Research Analyst, responsible for managing multiple research projects and providing team support. Before her current role, Sydney gained experience as an intern within EMM Research and The Bachrach Group. A proud graduate of Pace University, Sydney earned her BBA in Finance in 2023 and went on to complete her MBA in Marketing Analytics in 2024. During her time at Pace, Sydney was a standout student-athlete, playing for five years on the women’s lacrosse team. Her commitment and leadership on the field culminated in 2023 when the team clinched the Division 2 Women’s Lacrosse National Championship.
